WHAT IS IT?
MindBody Integration Practice is a holistic approach to addressing the things that get in the way of enjoying life to the fullest extent possible. Stress and trauma can have extensive and long-lasting effects on one's ability to navigate daily life. MindBody Integration brings the practices of mindfulness, movement, body awareness, sensation mapping, coaching and education around the way trauma and stress affect the body and mind to increase your ability to be present, balanced and joyful day to day. This is an ideal approach for anyone who deals with anxiety, sleeplessness, inability to focus, dissociation from the body, patterns of behavior that are not helpful and the like.
WHAT IF I HAVE SIGNIFICANT TRAUMA?
Combined with Existential-Humanistic therapy, positive, identifiable and sustainable shifts can occur much more quickly because this combination works from the top down (therapy) AND the bottom up (mindfulness, movement, etc) and is, therefore, inclusive of the total experience of being human.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Mindbody Integration is available in several ways depending on your individual needs.
12 initial sessions in person or via skype/facetime of one hour
followed by optional ongoing MindBody Integration coaching.
